Software Engineer
Full Stack

We are an SF-based development team working on cutting edge Augmented Reality software for businesses. We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us tackle the exciting roadmap we have in store. We don’t shy away from hairy work, nor do we lose sight of the critical product and business goals required to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with your team to contribute to the core codebase

  • Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle including discovery, prototyping, technical design, defining scope with Product Managers, implementation, testing and rollout

  • Champion best practices, high quality code, and proper test coverage

  • Drive changes to improve the architecture and make it more scalable, maintainable, testable

  • Identify opportunities for improvement by challenging the status quo, come up with alternative and creative solutions, and push change

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of progressive experience in software development, preferably in a SaaS environment

  • Expert in one or more development languages: C/C++, Swift, Objective-C, Java, Javascript

  • Libraries, Frameworks and APIs: PCL, Spring, OpenCV, QT, WebGL

  • Tools: Git, Make

  • Algorithms: Geometry processing algorithms, Sensor data processing algorithms

  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational database development, preferably MySQL or Postgres

  • Strong understanding of web application development and agile development practices

  • A holistic approach to development and testing

  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal


Sales Lead

Multifold is looking for an Enterprise Sales Lead who can source and close enterprise SaaS contracts with brands and retailers. This will require selling the value of our solution to prospects by quickly assessing and articulating how Multifold meets their particular needs and beats our competition.

The Enterprise Sales Lead must also have the gravitas to generate new leads themselves with prospective customers, and must be confident leading video conference and face-to-face meetings to navigate enterprise sales.

The individual best suited for this role should have a proven track record of refining a sales process, interpreting product feedback and selling to our target customers effectively in a start-up environment. This role will work closely with Multifold’s CEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling sales content and continuously refine and improve

  • Develop email drip campaigns and cold calling strategies to generate leads

  • Build and refine a sales process that makes sense for a particular target customer

  • Develop a sales pipeline, monthly forecast, and measurable activities

  • Individually source and close deals with confidence

  • Listen, absorb and clearly articulate customer feedback

  • Deliver constructive feedback to a product manager and help determine how to better articulate the value proposition

  • Bring forward strategic recommendations in formulating the plans that will successfully achieve the company’s sales targets and revenue forecasts

  • Collaborate with marketing in the development of innovative sales and marketing programs

Qualifications:

  • BS or BA, 2+ years experience in field sales in an enterprise, B2B start-up environment

  • A genuine interest in building long-term relationships, rather than just achieving quotas

  • Desire and ability to be part of a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial team

UI/UX Designer (Intern)

The UI/UX Design Intern will work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to help design, mock and implement feature UI and UX flows.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to create simple creative solutions to complicated design needs

  • Mock up and prototype features according to spec

  • Provide variety of solutions to design needs

  • Work closely with engineers to implement features UI and UX flows

  • Deliver effective, polished UI/UX

  • Clearly communicate design rationale

  • Rapidly iterate and test a variety of ideas using wireframes, sketches and fully designed comps (when needed)

Qualifications

  • Expert user in prototyping tools (E.g., Sketch, InVision, Framer, Protopie, Origami Studio, Photoshop and/or Illustrator, etc.)

  • Understanding of web and interactive design fundamentals

  • Strong wireframe and prototyping skills

  • Portfolio must illustrate strong UI skills, and graphic design skills

  • Experience with user research, with a tool-kit of methods and techniques suited for different situations

  • Currently enrolled student who is graduating in the next 1-3 years with a bachelor’s or master’s degree


3D Artist Generalist
(Full-time & Intern)
 

We are looking for a strong 3D generalist with experience in VR/AR or one with an incredible portfolio. This position offers the opportunity to grow and learn in this new fast paced industry. You should be comfortable with juggling multiple projects, tight deadlines, and corporate clients. AR should be where you see future growth, but you should also have knowledge of design basics and the ability to work across all mediums quickly, efficiently, and with a tireless energy. This role offers a mix of production design and more creative business driving work. Successful artists will have the opportunity to grow into supervisor positions.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and/edit photorealistic 3D product models

  • Create engaging AR content (test and iterate to determine what works)

  • Develop efficient design workflows and work with product and engineering teams to automate

  • Work with product and engineering teams to brainstorm additional functionality for designers in our software

  • Help to build the 3D designer community at Multifold

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of 3dsMax AND Maya or Blender to create 3D models from references

  • Import/export .OBJ or .FBX

  • Texturing and UV coordinates for 3D models

  • 3D Animation in Maya or Blender

  • Material indexing and setup

  • Organization and folder structure within assets

  • Non-destructive workflow
